Max van Son is Project Manager at the Sustainable Finance Lab. He researches the digitisation of the financial sector and financial climate regulation, with the aim of turning scientific insights into real-world solutions.

Van Son obtained a master’s degree in International Business with a specialisation in Sustainable Finance at Maastricht University. Afterwards he started working as a consultant at the advisory firm Finance Ideas. At this firm, he advised social housing organisations, health care institutions and institutional investors about real estate, finance and ESG. He was involved in the loan fund MKB Impulsfonds and mortgage product Starters Renteregeling.
